The magnets are created in different strengths to pick up the debris. The greater the grade and quality of the magnet will result in quick clean up and save in huge costs to the airport companies. Generally the optimum height of these magnets from the ground is three to five inches. Magnets in length of anywhere from two to eight feet wide can used depending on the size machine the magnets are attached to. Magnets can be mounted on forklifts, yard trucks, push-tugs and maintenance vehicles. As anyone knows, time is money. Money is saved when foreign objects do not cause flat tires on airplanes or on construction sites.
